part 2
anyway mr lim is like the hippiest teacher in school.
mrs koh isn't as bad as i thought she would turned out to be. today's english lesson was so 'free and easy'. she asked us to read an interview with steven speilberg in the newsweek and to think about what we would picture ourselves doing in the nex thrity years. thirty years is so long but yet when trying to picture in thrity years time made it feel so short, i was kinda scary though. she went around the class listening to each of our thoughts. i think that was quite nice of her and i like to have more of such lessons. instead of having like written work all time. sometime english is all about expressing our thoughts and feelings about an issue.
she was however kinda disappointed that SOME of us are thinking of leaving singapore to either work or live overseas in the future. well i would like to express some thoughts. firstly i think singapore is a stressful place to live in. we can't blame the governmet for anything cause we have no otehr resources other than humans, so its either we strive hard and get to the top or die and get tarmpled upon. i also economically we are like 'quite there'. Other than having integrated resorts coming, there is like nothing much we can actually do because of space constrain. singapore is also too built-up. cars, buses, roads everywhere. a cosmopolitan country. and again its no choice. i know that the government has done everything to make this country and better place to live in and in record time we travelled and improved so much in 40 years, that's a very commendable effort that i think mr lee and his crew have done. however despite all these economic prosperity, our lives are nothing but fun.reading the 4th july issue of newsweek on the article of the suituations and environment of south korean 10th graders. going to school at 6 till 6, its fucking crazy. and other crazy and stressful examples are also mentioned. its a matter of time that local students go crazy and depressed about school. then they'll have to expand the mental instituition to accomadate more patients.
then again we have school councillers who claims that what is said behind closed doors will not be known to others. end up i think they just blabbled it to the teachers and people do gossip.
so yeah end up we've got no one to turn to and this leads to a accumulation of troubles which may eventually lead to self mutilation and death. so much for a nice and enjoying childhood.
anyway i read something that struck me. according to UN reports europe might lose 41 million people by 2030. its fucking crazy. can u imgaine that? greying population. i think the humans will just go extinct even before the world freeze or gets burned into a fireball.
k going off. i need to conserve energy to revise a little bio.
dream man, come out come out where ever you are.
9:43 PM
fridays will never be the same.
hey today is friday. since i'm sorta out of guides now, my friday afternoons will be free:)
i love spending time with friends, you guys are my everything:)
this afternoon jiaying, her mum, eunice, aisyah and i had on down to peninsular plaza to get jiaying's hair cut. it took like an hour to cut her hair. it was four thirty already. so aisyah and eunice decide to scrap the idea to accompanying jiaying to get her eye brows done and came along with me:D
we just went to some cafe sat down, ate, talked and read magazines. there wasn't really much talking but stil i loved it. i just love their presence and their company. we left the cafe at 6.30. walked past carlton hotel twice, but i didn't get to see anybody famous.
went to raffles city saw something we thought was hilarious. a tourist took a photo of a police ranger. i guess it was mainly because the ranger looked smart with the machine gun strapped across his chess.
we walked into chijmes cause none of us knew how the place was like so we decide to take a tour. the stuff there looked super ex. restaurants which serve foods that cater mainly to the expatriates and the higher income earners.
walked around raffles city, listened to some acapella thing that was on. the music was bad. showed them the spot where i stood on wednesday went i went to raffles city. shopped around mph cause eunice wanted to get some magazines but it was more costly there so we looked around at other books. the body builder was so freakish. haha indentation.
went home after that as aisyah had to catch a train to jb to meet her family there. the train was super packed. nothing like i've ever seen. saw quite a few charming people:)
the places near raffles city were kinda packed with ahems:) too bad i didn't go to orchard today.
yeah anyway i can scrap the hope of getting to see anybody famous. maybe i should try orchard road. but anyway like what i'v told jiaying aisyah and eunice, wait till i open my famous restaurant in france or something, celebrities came and find me for my food instead of me chasing them;D but its quite had to achieve. it will drain me.
anyway jiaying and aisyah dun take the whole shake head thing during english lesson too hard. u guys know i treasure my friends alot.
so yeah i think every friday i should just stay out sit around, read, sit back enjoy and truly rest after a week of hardwork.
anyway i tink i prefer suntec that area as compared to orchard. orchard is always so packed. raffles city suntec ar filled with nicer people and places.
on fridays all i want is a place to chill and read global news and books just to widen my knowledge and at least know something other than what's in your school textbook. cause i find people who only do well academically and knows nothing about the world he/she is living in shallow.
fridays should always be spent with friends:)
anyway on the shit side of life i've gotta do my biology diagnostic test tomorrow morning at 8. thanks mr lim for only informing me the test today. your negligence is truly appreciated. but i can't blame him for i knew that there's going to be a test either last or this week. anyway i think he's the nicest teacher ever. as in like he treats us like mature adults, give us a choice in whether we want to do our work anot. but of course he wants us to do his work. as what aisyah says working in a girls' school u just have to keep your distance or tongues will start wagging. i think after i finish cedar i'll befriend him. to make it clear i'm into him or anything. I'M NOT!
u guys know who i'm inot. AHEMS;D

omg
omg who fucking blasts the london tube?
inhumane
anyway now i'm tuned in to channelnews asia for the updates.
i felt strongly for pm tony blair's press conference in scotland. what he said was so true.
so coincidental. the announcement of the 2012 host the day before and the next bomb blasts.
listening to all the areas affected, names of the streets and stations i feel like i'm playing monopoly cause that's the only game that has names of areas in london. k i'm shallow.
people watch the news man.

london wooohooo
its judgement day for the five countries.
i was rooting for both madrid and london. when i found out madrid was out, i was for london all the way.
in a nutshell, it was the craziest thing i've ever done so far. i went to raffles city to get into the atmosphere. the french and the english supporters were wild. the frech were shouting and cheering paris in french and waving the france flag.
the english were up on the fourth floor. the prohibited area where only the medi and the delegates were allowed.
the whole thing ended at like 8.00. i wantedt to leave but thought i should hang around for a while hoping praying to catch a glimpse of Raul or Beckham. saw beckham from the third floor. he was on the fourth. didn't get to see Raul though.
made 4 new friends.
a middle aged malay woman and her son, 2 ex nyjc girls and this real nice japanese women all waiting to see beckham.
yeah i was there till 9 got home at 10. haiz i bet if i could stay longer i would. it was real fun though.
well, these days i find doing crazy things alone more fun and meaningful. i'll never forget 060705.
if my parents allow i do not mind hanging around the airport on friday hoping to see the stars. hope they'll stay in singapore shop and spend money. walk past them get an autograph or something.
i'm crazy.

i would like to make a public annoucement here:
thank you all for showering me with testimonials, smses and emails (well not really for email).
i guess i'm on everyone's testimonial debt list.
its not that i do not want to write testimonials its just that i'm not the writer kinda person and i'm afraid that i'll sound like an ass. i'm not very good with my words. when i read my testimonials for people i find it sounds stupid.
so sorry to kathleen and donna that i dun write letters to u guys, i dun wanna sound cheeseballish. cause i then to do that:) but i want you guys to know that i love and treasure u guys like gems and i can't wait to spend every second together with you guys when u get back. u see what i mean so cheesy.
but i know that JIAYING appreciates it:) i bet all of u do too. if u don't fine, whatever.
i really treasure our friendships and many times i'll ask myslef whether i have done anything to offend someone. cause as you all know i'm a very straighforward person. well these days i practice more self control. so yeah these days i ask u guys whetehr u are pissed with me, just to check. please be honest? thanks.
anyway to jiaying and kathleen: i love the testimonials u guys have wrote for me. anyway i doubt any guys will come and visit my profile. hahahahahahahah. joking i must have self confidence. the guy i'm searching for is somewhere out there. for love, i'll never settle for second best and neither should u guys.
so to people out there dun cry for jerks they are not worthy of ur tears. worst comes to worst become lesbian cause we girls are always there for each other;) haha. THAT IS SUPPOSED TO BE THE LAST FINAL END OF THE WORLD RESORT!
8:04 PM
youth day
youth day.
hmmm. ian thorpe and tony blair is in singapore, david beckham is coming.
on wednesday, 6th july, the whole world will know who gets to host the 2012 olympics. can't wait:)
if only i wasn't in sec 4 and i do not have 2 diagnostic test to sit for this week. if not i would go down to suntec raffles city that area trying and hoping to catch a glimpse of these people. men is suits, women in nice pencil skirts and coats, all prim and proper. i idolize such people. haha i'm weird.
question to donna: did u watch the live 8 concert in london?
life sucks. i wanna get married and be dependent on someone. sounds so loser.
